Quote of the Day

Shelly Luther, American Hero

Texas Hair Salon Owner Released from Jail

“I find it outrageous and out of touch that during this national pandemic, a judge, in a county that actually released hardened criminals for fear of contracting COVID-19, would jail a mother for operating her hair salon in an attempt to put food on her family’s table,” Attorney General Paxton said in a written statement on Wednesday. “The trial judge did not need to lock up Shelley Luther. His order is a shameful abuse of judicial discretion…”

Shelly Luther speaks for all of us who love our country but also love our freedom to pursue our business activities within the constraints of the law. The despicable judge who did this to her violated her constitutional rights and Luther should sue the City of Dallas and the State of Texas to emphatically make that point and to create legal precedent for the rest of us so that the next time something like this happens we can lock up the judge rather than a citizen exercising their God-given, constitutional rights. God Bless Shelly Luther for having the courage to NOT apologize to that arrogant asshole of a judge and his kangaroo court as the only way to avoid jail time. You go, girl! I wish I lived in Dallas…I would get my hair cut there for the rest of my life. – The Liberator
